How do you photograph weddings?
On your wedding day, my focus is on capturing how everything felt. The quiet, intimate moments, the joyful chaos, the real emotions, and all the meaningful details that make your wedding uniquely yours. I’ll guide you through posing when needed to ensure you have those picture-perfect images, but I also place a huge emphasis on candid, perfectly imperfect moments in between. My goal is to document your day honestly and beautifully, preserving every emotion so you can relive it for years to come.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I’m currently based in Mankato, Minnesota. I photograph weddings throughout Minnesota and beyond, and I’m always excited to document love stories in new places. For weddings outside of the Mankato area, travel fees may apply to cover mileage, flights, lodging, and any necessary transportation. All travel and lodging costs are clearly outlined in your proposal upfront, so there are no surprises. If you’re planning a destination wedding or getting married somewhere special, I’d love to hear about it!
When will we get our photos?
You will receive an online gallery link with all of your edited wedding photos within a maximum of 6 weeks (often sooner, depending on the season your wedding takes place). I know how excited you’ll be to relive your day, so I also deliver sneak peeks within 48 hours of your wedding so you have 15-20 photos to enjoy and share right away. Every image is carefully edited to reflect my style and to tell the story of your day beautifully.
How many pictures will we receive?
I always choose quality over quantity when delivering your wedding gallery. Each package includes a minimum number of images, which is listed in the package pricing. However, I don’t cap your gallery at a specific number—if there are additional photos that meet my quality standards and help tell the full story of your day, I will absolutely include them. My goal is to deliver a thoughtfully curated collection of images that best reflect your wedding and all the meaningful moments.
What if we already had our engagement session done?
No problem at all! If you’ve already completed an engagement session, you’re welcome to exchange it for another session instead. This can be a family session, a one-year anniversary session, or another meaningful milestone you’d love to document. I want your experience to feel valuable and personalized, so we’ll make sure your package fits your story perfectly.
